Forum Rules

This forum was started to allow discussion of the intent of the Founding Fathers (ca. 1750-1850) as to how and what the Constitution was to be and how it was to function. Read the material on the site "How We Started" at http://www.walthofman.com and then comment. The recommended minimum to start would be The Federalist and The Anti-Federalist. As you go along read the other material and comment on how it has modified or supported your understanding. References should be from the site or other original material from that era. Do not reference modern media or authors, they weren't there! The idea is to keep the discussion to what the Founding Fathers would have said or done about a particular area or subject. Partisan diatribes are not wanted here.
